Hello lovely people! My name is Sarah and I started on my journey into the world of flowers after running my vintage hiring and styling business Teacups and Roses, for a few years. I was working alongside florists for weddings and events and just loved how flowers brought my props to life. I adored the creativity of it all and helped a couple of brides set up their own flowers. I realised how passionate I was about styling the flowers, so in between having my first and second child, I decided to study with Pearson’s School of Floristry in 2015 to obtain my trade certificate III. The rest as they say is history!

I work from my home studio based in Roseville and my designs definitely have a touch of rustic and whimsical. I love designing something unique and gorgeous to bring a smile to someone’s face and have recently decided to stop using floral foam as it is essentially a plastic and full of chemicals.  Flowers need nothing more than clean, fresh water!  I am also trying to use vintage vases and vases made of recycled materials where possible.  It gives me a great excuse to go vase hunting in all those local op shops!

At this early stage in my business I currently do all the deliveries myself, and often bring my youngest along to help me.  I love to provide a personal service and enjoy meeting some of the lovely locals around the North Shore.

I can’t wait to bring some flower love to you all and hope to meet you soon!

Sarah
